Scope:

To manage the relocation and design of Clipper Teas' new Beaminster offices, creating a flexible workplace to accommodate a growing team alongside new meeting spaces, collaborative working areas and breakout facilities.

The Brief

Following an acquisition and an increase in staff numbers, Clipper Teas needed to relocate its Beaminster team to larger offices nearby.

BSG was involved from the outset, working closely with the management team while building work was underway to develop a design that would make effective use of the new space while reflecting Clipper's distinctive brand.

The brief called for a combination of practical workstations, meeting rooms, collaborative spaces and breakout areas, all brought together through a fresh, natural design inspired by Clipper's established colour palette.

The Solution

Our Interiors team developed a number of CAD designs and layout options before creating a scheme that balanced the practical requirements of the growing team with Clipper's visual identity.

Senator Chemistry workstations were selected to provide a flexible desking solution that could be configured as individual desks or benches. These were paired with Clipper chairs, Highland Oak finishes and storage, while shades of green and carefully selected splashes of colour reflected Clipper's branding throughout the workspace.

The same palette was carried through to the meeting rooms, giving individual spaces their own identity while maintaining a consistent look across the office.

A variety of breakout and collaborative spaces were also introduced. Sunda tables and Loiter seating created relaxed areas for lunch breaks, informal meetings and catching up with colleagues, while Mote seating provided comfortable spaces for smaller meetings.

For a more informal collaborative meeting room, Ad-Lib chairs and Famiglia lounge seating with lightweight removable work tables created a versatile environment suitable for both structured meetings and more relaxed discussions.

The Result

A fresh, flexible workplace designed around the needs of Clipper's growing team.

The new office provides a balance of individual workstations, collaborative areas, meeting rooms and comfortable breakout spaces, giving employees different environments to suit the way they work throughout the day.

Natural finishes, shades of green and vibrant accents bring Clipper's brand into the workplace, creating a bright and distinctive office that complements its Beaminster surroundings while providing the additional capacity and flexibility the business needed.
